For people who like the countryside, villages in the northern part of the island, such as Icod de los Vinos, Los Realejos, La Orotava, Santa Úrsula, La Victoria and La Matanza seem to be ideal and very interesting. In the heart of La Orotava you find one of the most important tourist centres of Tenerife and even of the Canary+ Islands in general. Itīs become famous for its port, Puerto de la Cruz and its all year round mild climate. In this area we find a lot of nice family homes. As we go towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife we pass the village Guamasa, which is very well connected to the airport as well as the highway. Here we find some nice houses which are still in the countryside, but due to the good connections very close to the city.
In the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to be more precise in Cabo Llanos, situated southeast of the Avenida
Tres de Mayo, is the part of the city, which has developed most in the last couple of years. Shopping Malls like El Corte Inglés,
Carrefour but also the Auditorium of Tenerife is located right next to the area. In Cabo Llanos we find some really nice and
well equipped apartments with the highest standards.
In the southern part of the island, where most of the tourists and tourist attractions are (Waterpark, Golf Course, beaches..), we find
a lot of knew but also older houses and apartments for sale. Due to their proximity to the tourists, they can be a very interesting investment.
The main tourist areas include: El Médano, Los Cristianos, Las Américas, Adeje and El Acantilado de los Gigantes.
Those apartments or houses in the south are due to their proximity of the tourist centres generally more expensive than the ones in the north. If you
are looking for a good deal though you should visit villages such as: San Isidro, Arona, Granadilla, San Miguel, Cabo Blanco, etc. that are a
bit off plan but also the prizes are usually a bit lower.
